    Battle damage from JHMR.

I was unpacking my skis and noticed I had done some damage when I had banged my tip into a rock at the gathering. I know I need to seal it up to keep water out but should I try to straighten the bend and flatten the p-tex first?

Grand Targhee day during 2020 Gathering week at Jackson

Forgive me if this has already been resolved. I'm trying to clarify my plans and wanted to confirm that a group of PugSki members are going to ski at Grand Targhee on Friday, Feb 28. - Is the date of Feb 28 correct? - I'll have a car and could possibly give two people a ride over and back...

    Hello from Wydaho

Hi! New member from Idaho, right near the Wyoming border. I ski Grand Targhee (season pass), Teton Pass (backcountry), occasionally Jackson Hole, and Beartooth Pass/Beartooth Basin as much as I can in the spring/summer. I learned to ski as an adult and this will be my 7th season. Last season I...

    IKON Bling Packet

Just got this in today's mail. I'm going to slap that sticker on my helmet, sew that patch on my waterproof Arc'Teryx shell, and hang both the pass and the key chain on a lanyard around my neck. Then I'll be all set to jump in the tram line at Jackson Hole the upcoming second week of December.

When will the dates for the 2020 JH Gathering be decided? They are decided! 2/23/20 - 2/29/20

Just curious about the dates. I'm taking my son out to Utah during MA February vacation 2/16-2/22. I'm guessing the Gathering will be in that time frame but if not I may try to swing a second trip to attend the Gathering. And yeah, I know I'm way early. I'm a long range planner; what can I...

    IKON the Lightning Rod

The linked article reflects the general sentiment of multiple places to which I've been this winter as well as my social media feeds. The numerous reasons for crowding have been discussed elsewhere. However, deserved or not, IKON seems to be the lightening rod in this. My suspicion thus far...

    Two tales of customer service

So this week Jackson Hole is hosting their Steep and Deep camp which I had signed up to attend. This past weekend was also Winter Storm Harper here in the Northeast and Midwest that basically made getting to Jackson on time impossible. When I realized I wasn't going to reach Jackson Hole this...

Respectfully request guidance on selecting the right powder skis

Respectfully request guidance on selecting the right powder skis. I'm a 185 pound 5'9" mid level skier that usually skis about 10 days a year in the east and 10 days a year in the west. I'm hoping to bump up the days I ski out west in the coming years. I am currently able to wait for what looks...
