Welcome to a skiers’ Springtime favorite game show, Store or Sell, where you get to decide if your ski gear is worth storing or selling to upgrade for next season! You need to determine what is worth keeping and what is worth passing on to others before you can put yourself in the bonus round...
It is a brave new world when an upstart boutique ski builder from sleepy northern Vermont makes one of the reference skis in the hotly contested One Oh Something category. The Citadel 106 is Cyrus’s baby; he made the Z-90 and Endurance 98 first so that he could afford to make a lightweight 106...
I did a small handful of very quick demos at Big Sky on Friday. Only took one run on each ski, so these are just impressions.
2019 Renoun Endurance 98 3rd Gen @ 168cm [Tricia's ski]
2020 K2 Mindbender 88 Ti Alliance @ 170cm [Tricia's ski]
2020 Blizzard Rustler 9 @ 172cm [demo tent]
2020...
Posted this in general skiing and realized it should probably go here instead. My bad.
Hey all,
I just purchased some renoun endurance 98s and had a question for the binding mounting point. In some reviews I recall reading guys saying the recommending start point was too far forward and...
I got a pair of Renoun Z77 skis and I was wondering how good they are and how much they're usually priced at because I'm having a hard time finding information online.
The Citadel 106 has been a vision of ours since the inception of RENOUN. Wider, lighter, carbon fiber. More HDT, less chatter. Everything you need to build a super ski unlike any other. After 3 years of R&D - Research & Dreaming, we’ve made it a reality.

Much has been written about the Renoun Endurance 98 since its original incarnation two or so years ago. Back then, it was...
There is an interesting review of Renoun 98 mm ski over at Blister gear reviews.
Basically, the (very experienced) skiers found the ski to me very, very stiff, almost impossible to bend into turns for the great majority of potential skiers. That's not the whole story, or the end of the...
East coaster here. I love my Stöckli Laser SC's, but I need a second pair of skiis for less than perfect groomer days.
This became clear yesterday as I was trying out my friends Rossi's Experience 88's; really enjoyable ski for mid-speed runs, but I did lack a bit of grip on the icy parts.
I...
I've been skiing on the Renoun Z-90 in 165 for a year now. During that time, many women have asked about the shorter 157 length, so @Cyrus Schenck sent me a pair to put through the paces.
First impressions: Out of the box, I noticed that it seemed a little stiffer than the 165, but that doesn't...
Some say 50 is the new 40; in the ski world, I'm beginning to think 90 is the new 88. As many of you know, I've been praising the Head Joy line for a few years. Head's lightweight Graphene technology was first used in the women's skis and is now being implemented in the men's lineup. The one...
(From RENOUN): We first set out to put HDT into a ski almost 5 years ago. It has been a long road, filled with setbacks and seemingly endless trial and errors. But today, we're proud to announce RENOUN has received a full-fledged patent for HDT™.
When you think of the innovations of the past...
A friend of mine is looking for a front side focused all mountain carver. He's leaning toward the RTM86, but he's been eyeing my Z90s as well. I think the price tag might be holding him back on the Renouns. Anybody skied both and could provide a comparison?
There isn't much I can say about this ski that has not already been written on Pugski, but for anyone on the fence about purchasing the Z-90's--buy them!
I just spent two days on the Z-90's at Northstar in just about every snow condition thanks to some crazy weather last week, and the skis...

I skied the Z-77's in a 174 mounted with PRD 14's at the new suggested 78cm's from the tail. This mount point was perfect. I had them tuned to 1:2. for harder snow environments, a 1:3 would rock! Here are some thoughts and observations:
Skied hero snow at 6*, blue groomers with some loose snow...
I keep hearing how amazing the Renoun Skis are, but there wasn't a good size and flex for me so I had to wait nearly a year to get on them. Fortunately, the Z-90 arrived a week ago in a 165 length. It is a gorgeous ski. The white and gold limited edition graphics are classic and rich-looking...

If you want to know what you should demo, just ask here on PugSki, there is a ton of information.
If you don't have a pass at any of these resorts, Renoun will refund your lift ticket when you purchase a demo ski.
