I stayed home yesterday but got up for first chair line up today.Snowbowl sold out for Sat/Sun. Lines look pretty big up there today I'm assuming due to covid procedures.

it was good but after two hours I wanted to leave as the lines and crowded runs became too much.
if this is the new normal I’ll stop skiing there completely in a few years.

Checking the AZSB webcam this morning and I see " Tickets are sold out 1/25 – 1/28 and 1/30..." wow. I am correct in understanding that pass holders _don't_ need any reservations? Or has that changed? Not that I have any intention of fighting with those crowds this week...
Wow... that just doesn't seem possible based on the times I've been at TSV.Line at TSV this morning. Backside was closed so the line off Chair 1 was this long from 8:30 until 11:30! I am taking a private week so I get to skip all the lines! Got first tracks on a few runs! Great day! View attachment 122118
I was expecting this season to be slower but it is not! The lines were long, not due to distancing in line because people weren’t really distancing. And most people were going up in their own groups so there weren’t really any backups due to single riders. It was just busy!Wow... that just doesn't seem possible based on the times I've been at TSV.
A foot at Ski SF. Hope you are getting after it @Pasha
Try having gone the last three years! It's quite irrational, how attached I've gotten to my "annual" Taos outing at about exactly this time of year, after only two iterations.
Hello everyone! I’m a long-time lurker on this site (and epicski beforehand) that never mustered the energy to write a comment, but I figure I have to say hello when I show up in a picture. I’m the guy in the orange helmet and rust-colored jacket staring up Al’s run in the center-right background. The lines are always long at Taos on powder days with lift holds, but they seemed to get things opened pretty well by the afternoon. Unfortunately, I could only nab two runs before I had to leave—but those runs were the best of the season so far!Line at TSV this morning.
