15 and 16 are done. Yesterday taught a couple of classes in the morning, skied a few run and got some 1 on 1 clinic time with our trainer. Mark asked what I would like to work on; my reply, "dolphin turns". He lit up cause he couldn't really do them either. We actually made progress with them and each pulled off a few till our thighs burned out.
Today was great groomer conditions! Up doing my warm-up runs before morning ski school line up; 2 lessons scheduled again. As often happens after clinicing, they were the best runs I have laid down all season.

Then I got the phone call; SH!#! 'Congratulations, you have been exposed to a confirmed case of COVID.' Now I'm waiting for an appointment to get tested. Hope 17 will be next week, but out of my hands.

Broke double digits today at Cannon. Got a few inches of fresh on crust and had some nice tracks on Vista Way and Hardscrabble before my buddy jammed his thumb and unfortunately cut it short by noon. No pics today as visibility was typical Cannon at <100 yards.

If it counts only alpine skiing, then still 0, as everything is closed here and no lifts are running. If it counts anything on skis, then with yesterday's classic xc ski session, I came to number 30 :) 16 days on xc skis, 14 on ski touring. And 8 out of those 14 ski touring days are marked in my notes as "perfect day". Considering I normally get 2 or 3 "perfect days" a season (perfect tour in perfect snow conditions, so that it couldn't be any better then this), this season certainly doesn't look bad for now, even if all lifts are closed :)

21 today. All at JH

Not that I really care, but would be cool to hit 1M feet of vert on the season, log is currently at 547K... so you're sayin there's a chance

I've skied over 1 million vertical feet four seasons. Just lots of days, not a lot of big days, lots of mornings. 90 or so. Hasn't happened in a couple of years though.

Day 8 at Copper today. Actually had some soft turns thanks to the snow that fell today. Super Bee is a sweet lift, if I had the energy I could have had massive day because I was just skiing right on the lift at the end of the day but my legs had enough.

27. Got some new boots from matt schiller, and holy cow do they make a difference. Now I just have to break them in enough to ski for more than 90 minutes without getting pins and needles...

Back at Sunapee for 8. Drove my baselodge home for lunch when the lines got long, then came back for the end of the day. Should've thought of that sooner. Great snow out there.
