Yesterday marked four weeks after my last day on the hill.

With the pandemic, I didn't travel anywhere, I just went to my two local hills.

But I went almost every day making a total of

.

I should be able to do better next season if I can travel.

That's commitment!
I have 95 in and will likely get 100 if all goes well.

day 76? of 2021, epic day, just epic, frozen upper part of mountain with degrees of ice from ok to very hard, so SL and GS was very good, with slush gradually creeping up and growing as day passed, we stopped for the "last lift" party at the very top with a few hundred others, before skiiing down 30? ish minutes after closing.

The summerski resorts start opening 8th of may, then others follow through may, hopeing to go for a 6 day trip next week :D

GF got to try the new for her U16 FIS SL and GS skis, + new mindbender 90c (after a proper tune) they were unskiiable stock (0 base to 2 degree base with variable side edge) loved them all, I think it also was her first time past 40-45mph range, rockin the GS. "they just wanna go fast" :)

Thought I was done at 30 but Lark and bitter are still hanging on at killington and groomable so driving up this afternoon to ski tomorrow which will be 31. I've done middle superstar and once I add upper and lower to my repertoire my season will go even longer. Usually by May I'm ready to hang it up and start disc golfing but just one more day......................

Day 31 for me at Killington. I think I'm done now. My guy stayed home so I went on my own. Conditions were pretty good. Upper lark was excellent. Middle and lower bittersweet were trashed but the mud slush bumps were skiable and I didn't have to walk at all so it's a win win in my book. I didn't do middle superstar again because walking was involved to and from lark. I'm a bump girl and had such a fun time on everything else I skied that was bumped up. Winning ski was my stockli stormrider 100s. I can't wait to be able to lap SS from top to bottom. I could have done it today but usually need some gentle tugging from my terrain coach or Rob but I was skiing solo today. Capped off the day with GIS in bay one with the crew. Springtime at the beast is something special. I'm ready to disc golf now.

55 so far.

Hoping to reach 60 on our next (and last) Mammoth trip in about a week.

I plan to do a couple days this off season at the indoor slope in Jersey, was debating whether it should be tacked onto my season that just end or the first days of next season.......................
According to the poll in this thread:

76.1% of respondents said that next season starts when there is new fall snowfall, or lifts start turning. So "this season" would include all of this summer at least.

Yeah - I was debating whether it counted or not, but seeing as I;ve not had any season at all so far I figured it was this season, even if it's only limited to 2 hours

If it is after July 1 2021 I think it should be booked as 21/22. If planning an indoor day keep in touch, I am planning a two hour block sometime in August.

I consider the new season to start October 1st. It is a fairly arbitrary date as we can typically find snow to ski 365 days a year, albeit with some effort. We can also get new snow any day of the year.

Me too. It seems most years that most September snow...at least at ski resort elevations will melt, but we start building a base in October. October 1 is a reasonable cut off.

I think skier's new year should be a national holiday. :)
