We are spending another week with the Hall of Fame at their induction ceremony, this year in Park City, UT. Getting time to spend with the HoF members both old and new is always a treat. Here is the list of the class for 2019. There are parties to attend, elbows to rub, and the chance to ski with these legends, which is always fun.

Last night we attended the Legends of Skiing party. This is a party where things are pretty chill and we mingle with current Hall of Fame members and get to know the new inductees a little better.

Keep watching while we post interviews and activities from this incredible week.

Hilary Engish-Klein interview with @Dan Egan

One of the fun things we learned about Hilary is that her daughter didn't know how bad ass her mom was. She knew she had a lot of medals and awards for skiing but didn't know just how amazing she was or how accomplished she was, until she interviewed her mom for a school project and googled her mom's name. It was Hilary's daughters who filled out the application for the Hall of Fame, and Hilary didn't know about it until she got the notice that she'd been accepted.

We will be starting the Facebook Live from the 2019 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony a little after 4:00 Mountain Time. Please check in, tell your friends and share with all of the skiers you know. At 4:30, @Dan Egan will be interviewing each inductee one on one about 4:30 and then at 6:00 we will be broadcasting the whole induction ceremony right here on our Facebook page.

Please post any questions and or experiences you would like to share here. We will pass them to the inductees.

The past week has been a whirlwind for us as we went from one event to the next which has made it difficult to update this on a regular basis, but here's a recap.

I like this picture particularly because Hilary talked about how she was in awe of Genia Fuller and John Eaves. Hilary and Genia have some very similar experiences, and it was fun to watch these ladies connect.

Here is the whole 2019 U.S. Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. Honestly, we didn't know if we would be able to pull this off until the afternoon before the event so we could not be promoted as much as we would have wanted to. It was our honor to be allowed to host the broadcast.

If you're looking for a specific inductee, here are the times of each individual.
*All times are +/- a few seconds
  • Start of actual event 54:30
  • Don Henderson 55:52
  • Hilary Engisch 1:05:55
  • Bode 1:22:40
  • Kristen Ulmer 1:27:42
  • Tom Sims 1:46:58
  • Bill Jensen 2:00:56
  • Andrew Weibrecht 2:15:44
  • Tom Kelly 2:28:00
