A-Basin skied well in the AM and it was nice to see that we were able to boot up IN the lodge!!!

At BML, it was sunny until it wasn't.

Again, it was sunny until it wasn't. Weather came in fast. Lifts were closed due to lightning in the area.

@Philpug, @Tricia, I hope you didn't get shut down today.

Another good day for an early start. Groomers were plush corn-uroy from the get go. Imperial terrain was open about 10:00. The off-piste, above treeline is getting to the punchy stage. More northern aspects and higher elevations were the preferred terrain choices.

This 3 - 4 foot deep hole was developing above the Rocky Mountain chair lift.

I did the Imperial Wiggle one more time today. This time top to bottom, non-stop and in good time, too. I also saw the Imperial Marmot. He was visible and hidden depending on his mood.

He's the brown spot in the lower left. He'd just pop his head up like a whack-a-mole and watch skiers.

George's was superb, yet again.

A view from the bottom on the way out.

No shut downs for us today. WE went back to the base a little after one and the snow was still really good. The cloud cover and breeze did a good job of preserving snow.

Any chance of @Philpug and @Tricia sticking around for more? I'll be on the hill my leisurely 10'sh tomorrow if anyone is around.
We have a crazy schedule coming up and need to get back to Reno in a few days. Leaving tomorrow with a brief stop in Utah for business then Reno/Home.

It is getting near the end. Today could be it for me.

It is looking good from the bus stop.

Another hole in the main terrain. You could hide a Harley in this one.

The snow will be good first thing tomorrow....

I thought I heard that today was the last day for Breck.
Are they open through the weekend?

Meanwhile, Arapahoe Basin is updating their terrain report, lift shut downs (Montezuma done after this weekend) and closing date (June 6th).

A-basin was super fun today. A perfect day of mixed weather that kept the snow from getting too sloppy, but no thunderstorms shutting things down.

The terrain is getting limited. Zuma is shut down, so just BMX and Lenawee. Hiking was open to the North Pole, but I didn't like the idea of being up there with the potential storms.

Lenawee was nice. Cornish slush maybe?

The ruts on Ramrod are getting deep. My Navigators are looking a lot more bent than they were the other day. :(

Definitely “breezy” at the top of ABasin this morning.

Closing day at Breck brought a little of everything. It started out with corn-uroy as it has all week, then clouded up, then cleared and as I was leaving white out conditions at times with blowing snow and fog.

Early sun and corn.

This hole grew to be able to hold a full size pickup.

The groomers were always pleasant and Forgot my Crown (White Crown crossing over to Forget Me Not) delivered for a sweet six runs.

Imperial finally opened following a fair delay. It was struck by lightening yesterday. Today's delay may have been servicing or simply wind delay as it was also quite blowy. I'm glad to have passed on it as at the time I would have been on top, the visibility was at its worst.

One more time out yesterday. Variable conditions with off groomed being much softer than the groomer to start, which refroze overnight. It all then quickly softened and the winds at Lenawee picked up quite a bit.

Hoping next season is better, pray for snow!
