a cold upper trough ejects from the Gulf of Alaska and pushes
into the region...In addition, snow levels will lower
during the day and early evening down to around 3500 to 4000
feet. Therefore, a Winter Weather Advisory has been issued from 10
AM Friday morning through Friday 10 PM for higher elevations of
the Sierra Nevada, mountains of Western Plumas County and Burney
Basin above 5,000 feet. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 6 inches
are expected, locally up to 8 inches.
