Oh that's sad, it wasn't really in that bad of shape yesterday, can't believe it had to be closed (.
Did you see all of the cracks in the snow at the bottom? THere is a stream that runs under that area, it is not if it collapses but when. I am surprised it lasted this late.

@Tony S and I spent the start of the day with @Near Nyquist and @Unpiste . Then 3 of us did another Reverse Traverse, but this time walked over the scree field to ski Headwall. It is a nice pitch, though not as technical as the North Bowl lines.

Near the end of the day ran into the @KingGrump 's and @Sandy_NYC . We finished the day with a flurry of Shirley Lake laps.

Its not THAT big...
Well according to Wikipedia it's only the 31st largest lake in the US by area, but the 6th largest (after the Great Lakes) by volume since it's so deep... you could say it's the largest lake entirely within the US. ogsmile

 D'oh... I knew that... but I was thinking "Great Lakes = Canadian Border"
Dude I gave you a hint with the sign, 54,200 strokes to Wisconsin!
*I noticed that Wikipedia is missing Wisconsin as a state bordering Lake Michigan.
