They say "everything is subject to change without notice"
Kind of not useful !

Mammoth released some details for them: Advanced reservations with priority for passholders.

It sounds like they're going to load the lifts like business as usual? I was planning on avoiding enclosed lifts this season, but as someone who skis solo a lot, I'm not really keen on being the 6th person on a 6-pack of strangers, either.

ETA: comments in response to SVAM plan only

6-packs & quads need to be limited to 2 people. Maybe some exception allowing all guests that arrived in same vehicle to ride together. Run Squaw one so we can avoid the Funitel. Maybe run lifts that rarely run like Broken Arrow or Silverado so we can spread out.

My two key take aways from the releases...
  • "At this time..."
  • "...we will remain flexible as we learn more throughout the season.”
And I appreciate...
  • "We will continue to communicate as we have more concrete information available.”
I am not sure how much more we can expect at this point.

"Advanced reservations with priority for pass holders"?? This sounds like pass holders will need advanced reservations, which I don't believe is the case; did you mean priority for pass holders = no reservations, and non-pass holders need reservations?

I read that to mean that if a pass holder wanted a day ticket for a friend/family member, they would have priority.

Ah! That makes sense; sorry for the misunderstanding John Webb!

Sugar Bowl's operating plan.
Note they say "masks must be worn at all times indoors and outdoors".
Does this also mean while skiing ?
yea, but to paraphrase the vail boss, easier to relax a policy should it not be needed, than to implement a new one.

I plan on wearing something over my face while skiing if the temp is under 30F. Probably a gaiter rather than a mask. And eye protection. And ear protection. You never know.

Per Mt. Rose:

Opening day is still TBD.

Phase 1: Just pass holders
Phase 2: Pass holders and daily tickets
