Define "banned."
I thought i heard some type of Fluorocarbon waxes were pulled off marker in some areas.
Can anyone verify ?

On the bright side they can pull all that snow off bullet and saddle and whatnot and push it down to keep Mountain Run open.
Mammoth would do that in a second. Their snow farming is amazing ! Squaw- not as much.

If the Squaw one lift can run in reverse it would be another way to download after the mountain run closes.
OTOH hand the top is difficult to access except for advanded skiers.

I just might pay good money to watch them (try to) load the chair in reverse!

Ban is proceeding at a snails pace. FIS ban may be delayed untill next year.

Didn't the fluoro stuff get banned ?

I still have usable 25 yr old silver wax you rub on heavy !

Only banned for racing - USSA this year. FIS next year. But nobody is producing it any more. Lots of racers still have hundreds/thousands of it still in their wax kits. Soooo. It won’t be thrown out, just used on non race skis.... And still no easy way to test for it. I’m pretty sure my speed Skis are still well impregnated with HF from the last FIS race.....
And I have an unused box of butter .....hmm maybe time to auction it....

Squaw is still skiing pretty decent, I can make turns but there's interesting fly paper now and then. Fun soft spring bumps to be had for the fit and beautiful sunshine to get your long awaited goggle tans.

Dr. Fauci says hugs with other fully vaccinated are allowed right?

@Sandy_NYC with a nice back ground. Someone let her know that mask is not quite on correctly, oh it's okay she's fully vaccinated too.
She was so tiny they all blocked her on the group photo.
