I guess in 1996 I had a rear-entry boot.
There was a cable looping over the ankle that I would tighten with a screw on the spine.
They were Nordica N??? w/funny accordion over the midfoot.
Again, would crank cable crazy tight to get the performance I wanted. Sort of like what happened with the bladders.
Probably why I suppressed the memory.
The ski pants worked! Married the guy, although 2 kids later the pants no longer fit and the non-working bladder is relevant
