This week on Chairlift Chat we review the new 2020 Blizzard Firebird HRC! Super fun, versatile frontside ski. We love the Firebird attitude.

Just from what I've read of these skis, they remind me of the Volkl Supersport Superspeed's,

Both are high performance carving skis with a 70's width. Both, if the HRC write-ups are accurate, are lively, capable of a lot of rebound. In fact, reading the HRC reviews is inspiring me to take my Superspeeds, both 175 and 182, out of retirement. If anyone can, how would the HRC's compare, in capabilities in different snow conditions and terrain?

Also, the Superspeeds were not easy for slow carving. I wouldn't want to use them when instructing. How about the HRC's?

Some reviews of the Superspeed,
