2020 New England Gathering roll call

- MarkP. All three days (not all at Killington), in for dinner
- AaronFM - All 3 days, possibly dinner.
- James - 3 days (one place???), dinner
- JohnL - Sat and Sun plus dinner as long as not Seafood mdf. Interested in Magic and MRG, Fri, Mon. Driving up.
- Crank -- 3 days, dinner?
- Scruffy -- 3 days, dinner. ( This thing is gaining some steam, nice! )

Updated a few things -- the Crazies for Friday only, ADKMel for Friday and Saturday, MaryG in for dinner.
I'm heavily leaning toward including Friday, dependent on weather/conditions and work schedule.

Well, as much as it pains me to do this, with the latest developments regarding the coronavirus I have decided it is in the best interest of myself and my wife to cancel. We are both in our mid-60's with health issues that could complicate things if we were to contract the virus, so that won out over my desire to attend.
Of course, you will now be blessed with a major dump of snow... (that's the way my luck always seems to go LOL). Have fun everyone, I'll be looking forward to seeing all the fun I am missing

Like the custom Killington trail sign. But only blue?

The was an actual trail sign that was customized. As the story goes overnight a few years ago the FIS trail was renamed GIS by someone. The altered sign remained up for a couple days until the Killington sign shop made a new trail sign. I rescued the old sign before it was tossed in the trash and it now lives in my bar. FIS is a blue trail so the sign is blue.
Yes:....totally agree...I‘ve been on a Hodad kick this past winter...
I'm still working my way through the VT beers, but found Fiddlehead this year. Good stuff! But I tend to save those for VT and drink my local Victory and Dogfish Head beers down home. I have been known to bring home some Conehead...
I decided to honor the cancelled gathering with a solo ski day. Well, I met one friend at the mtn and we social distanced, well at least until he ran out of beer and reached into my cooler for one last cold one. Took my relatively new AT setup to Mt Abrams for one last ski day (I really needed a final outing). It's 1000 ft of vert and did 2 runs off the top. Very few people out and everyone was social distancing. One guy did give his teenage son a ride to the top on his ATV, I was jealous. Plenty of snow, pretty heavy dense stuff. I left a full can of Heady Topper at the top so I would have to go up a second time to get it, success. I liked one guy I talked to at the bottom puffing on a cigar, who said I am a one and done kind of a guy.
I am ready to call it quits for the season now.
