I wonder if this applies to the epic day passes as well?

It's walk ups and day of online purchase. The magic number for Vail, as in Vail Ski resort, is 19,900 max per day although locals are saying it was suppose to be 14,000 as agreed upon back in the day. I have to agree with a post in another thread. I seriously doubt that Vail can do anything anymore that someone won't say "it's not enough, do more" or be pissed off. Changes to parking in and around Vail too this coming season so be aware of that.

I'm guessing many of the people in the walk up tix line at Vail or Beaver Creek think less about spending what a day ticket costs than you and I think about spending for a six pack of beer. Its not an entry barrier to them.
