60 at Pali last Friday (5/13). Am I finished for the year? Maybe, maybe not. With fuel pushing $5.50/gallon and no guarantee of really good conditions at Mammoth, that makes for an expensive meh day. Pali was barely OK last time up so...

#89 Killington was groomed flat to start and turned into nice big soft bumps. Glad I got up early and went. Also Fun to meet @Guy in Shorts and the Killington crew, thanks! Lot's of snow..

Skied Sunshine for their closing day yesterday. It was day 69 for me. That's the end of the resort season around here.

Sunshine ended the season with 195 cm mid mountain base, excellent coverage throughout and nearly 100% of it's terrain open. A really spectacular closing weekend. We skied the Dive all day on Sunday and Goat's Eye South Chutes yesterday...including the high entrance off the hike. This terrain is rarely open late in the season, so it was a treat to ski it closing weekend.

I am hoping to ski tour for the next couple weekends, but I'll need the weather to cooperate.

32 and done for 2021-22 ski season. Managed to squeeze in a couple of additional days in May thanks to Squaw operation extensions.

This reminds me of my slalom waterski days with the spray :(

65 today at age 65. Timberline Lodge now has the Palmer lift open. It was slushy. Plenty of snow, but not great quality. I get tired pushing slush around.... Most likely this is the last day of the season. The summer season starts May31 and I think I'm done.

Not a bad season indeed.

Well, today (Sunday) at A Basin was really good, fun with people (no lines, some friends, and not too many others) and #100.
I'd wanted to at least reach that.

Seven more days open including their closing day, and I'll probably do every other day and the closing, if the rocks don't get me first.

I'll likely go tomorrow since it's the last day with the upper lift open, and the same group of folks will probably be there also, mostly.
