23 to close out the Fall ski season. Time to let the winter blow us away.

4, at Alta. Today had a focus on psychology, in that lines I know are within my ability looked scary even though once I started moving everything was fine.

Half of those I reached in 2020-2021...

Sunday I reached the same amount of days skied in 2020-2021...took my 7 y.o. son to ski, he had not been skiingsince February 2020, and once we started to get reports that our home ski are was ready and accepting reservations, was asking insistently to go, so off we went.
We had a nice "adventure" skiing in the snowstorm, getting stuck with the car in the snow, having to try to shovel (always have one in the car trunk) it free of the snow and finally being rescued by a ski instructor in a pickup truck who pulled our car out...all in all a nice father and son Sunday

5. Got a few turns in at alta after work. Today I focused on equipment, in recently fitted boots and on all mountain skis for the first time inbounds this season. The boots are feeling fairly good, but the skis are in dire need of a grind.

I'm motivated but have been waiting for snow...you guys are convincing me that there is no point in waiting anymore...gonna get out this month just because. The snow will come eventually.
