Looked like some snow was falling in the Uintahs yesterday based on radar.

How was the experience? Have heard some horror stories of crowded times.

I was there Monday and Tuesday. The staff told me those are the least crowded days. There are limits on the number of tickets sold, but on the weekends it does get more crowded. The one weekend day I skied, it was busy but not awful. Many beginners try that slope instead of staying in the beginner area, and the result is not pretty. Steeper than it looks.

Ahh, but will they let you ski it this year?
Yes. The past week, Austria and France have published their plans for next winter. Ski operation will be open for those who are vaccinated or have been through COVID. Depending on health care situation even people who have tested negative can ski. Sometimes masks are compulsory in gondolas, restaurants and après-ski. But other than that, there will be a ski season here.
