I have had both, they ski similarly. I have a slight preference for the plate on the Pro.

Thanks for that. I have a choice of Pro in 170 or Race in 175. Hmmm. Wanted the longer radius of the 175 but the Pro is also tempting. Aargh - choices!

For the eRace/Pro, there's no problem with shorter. For your weight, etc, 170's the call. I will ski next season's eRace Pro in a 175. I'm 5'11" 205#, L3.
