2021 Stöckli Orea Blanc

Tricia: The Orea line is new to Stöckli, bringing a fresh twist to the all-mountain ski with strong on-piste flair. Perhaps I should have passed up this demo because the length available was quite short for me, and the fresh snow overnight made for less-than-ideal conditions for a 68mm waist ski, but I was a kid in the candy store and wanted to take it out. I was pleasantly surprised how well the Orea Blanc sliced through the chopped powder, but never really got a good feel of how it could carve. That being said, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy this ski in a 163 if I were looking for a great all-mountain ski with a groomer bias.
