54 and 55 at Big Sky. 55 was pretty short but even the short runs are pretty long. 54 was my first Lone Peak tram ride. Our buddy Ben and I went up and skied down Liberty Bowl. Not particularly hard core but I was there more for the photo ops. Totally worth the $60 tram fee.

56 at Big Sky. Early ups, a few runs, a faux pas, and back to helping set up for day two of the induction ceremony for the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame. Rubbing elbows with legends.

My faux pas. Single eject face plant.

52nd and likely final day of the season yesterday at Attitash, NH. Coached the Pennsylvania contingent at the USSS U18/21 Eastern Finals. Was a fun time.

Day 41 at Magic.

Was a truly magical day. What an absolutely stupendous, spectacular ski day. Firmish snow to start out with but each run was softer than the last. We were also graced with sunshine. Days like this are very special. Enchanted Forest, Medium, Betwixt, Vertigo, Kinderspiel and Lower Magic Carpet were the stars of the day. Should have taken the fatter skis out today but my slaloms were actually a ton of fun for almost all day. Made them work on that last sticky run and had a damn fine time doing it. Love our Sunday magic ski gang.

Doug D. is one of the examiner on the hill. Good guy.
He was my first ski week instructor back in 1989.
Agreed. He is an extremely competent skier and instructor, and all-around good guy. I've become much less of a hack by listening to him. ogwink
