When I was there, I had an instance where I thought I was on the runout and was looking for someone or something in the distance. Suddenly, "whoa, I'm going way too fast. Do I try to turn or just hold on?"

I entered a Grass ski version of Nastar in VA once. Got going way too fast & couldn't turn thinking I'd bust my ass in a bad crash!. Basically straight lining on grass in summer on goofy things that look like rollerblades with tank treads !
Got a Grasstar Silver Medal. Never again ! !

No. Not for the past few weeks. Few sprinkles here and there. Not enough to wet through my sweat shirt.

Don't know. We usually get out there around 9. Been below freezing overnight lately. Expect it to be loud at 7:30.
