Sunday is the last day for Blue also.
I think I'm done for the season. I went up Sunday and wasn't feeling it. I think it's time to transition to inline skating and gravel riding. 17 days/ 400k ft. Not what I wanted but I felt like I got some good days in.

I also ride road and gravel; we should try to link up sometime!
Sweet! I'm pretty slow right now. Yesterday I rode the Perkiomen Trail from Betzwood to Crusher Rd and back (40 miles total) at 13mph. Looking to ride the D&L, Pine Creek, and random routes.

I think I am done also. Was hoping to get one more day out after getting back fro Colorado but it’s tough with kids sports ramping up. I mentioned to buddy about doing a spur of the moment trip Sugarbush but that will take a little luck. I did break down and renewed my Blue season pass and and am figuring out what Ikon pass to go with next year.

it’s time to try out the new bike also. Hoping to get out this weekend.

Nice, did you write a Colorado trip report?

Hearing good things about VT/ NH still. Was there at Killington for the huge dump last Tuesday.

Had every intention of posting a report in the Colorado thread but work kicked my ass as soon as I got back and hasn’t let up. ;) First trip out west and got a day in at Copper, one at Winter Park and four at Steamboat. Got to spend time with an old roommate/coworker and other old coworker and ran into one of my old college roommates, skiing was great and we’re already planning another trip for next year.

Saw VT/NH are still going strong. You definitely timed it right! Killington is expecting another 5 to 10 inches this weekend. My buddies were up there this past Friday through Sunday. They said Friday was great but Saturday was a rink with death cookies. I’m not putting storage wax on my skis yet. One can hope. :D I did somehow manage to get more days at Killington this year than Blue.

I truly was hoping to get out one more time. Was thinking of making a run to Vermont but work won’t allow it. Looks like it’ll be time for me to get the boat ready and get ready for saltwater fishing season. Tautog opens April 1. My backyard, truly blessed. The seas are a calling….

Just returned from a Wed to Wed trip to Mount Bachelor in Oregon (six straight daze of skiing) with my cousin Wayne. It’s always been on our radar — we like to take our annual, one-week ski trip out West in the second half of March (nice way to end the season) and when planning a trip in November with no crystal ball, Bachelor is a far better bet for late-season skiing than many of our favorites in the Rockies.

For those not familiar with it, Mount Bachelor is a volcano (hasn’t erupted in 10,000 - 12,000 years), and from the summit, you can ski down in any direction, 360 degrees. It’s in a high desert region, so it gets a drier snow than, say, the Tahoe area (or so I’m told — this was our first time skiing anywhere west of the Rockies). The only kicker is there’s nothing between it and the Pacific Ocean, so it gets plenty windy above the treeline.

Great tree skiing — put us in mind of Steamboat in a lot of ways. And with it, you get Bend, Oregon, too — the microbrews were excellent.

A bunch of you have skied with us, but for those who haven’t, Wayne is the helmetless one. For context for the trail photo, these Oregon woods were very skiable on either side of just about every trail. We had a blast. Wayne didn’t want me to post this (“Ssssh!” being the watchword), but I know we can all keep it just between us girls. :)

Hey Pocono people, long time fan of forum checking in for final remarks on our season. We had season pass at Blue and made the most of it considering weather and work / life obstacles. 20 trips including 9 in PA with strong finish at Blue Saturday in the rain. Kids and I had Mountain to ourselves 25 runs that had a pause for lunch and change of clothes to keep them on board. Next year they have invite to ski team will be there every weekend...hope the weather is better and to catch up with some of you for some runs. Off to Alta tomorrow - timing looks good

We’ll, one last conditions report for Blue Mountain today. Not much open, but deep base under fresh corduroy of typical spring slush, though I really don’t know what was going on with the snow guns and the colored snow balls. Plus side is snow bunnies were abundant today.

For their first egg hunt Blue did a great job and kids had a great time playing in the snow after such a miserable winter.
