We skied Alpine Meadows and the snow held up if you know how to follow along with the mountain.
Last few runs were off Scott Chair, which were really good.

Don’t know if today exceeded expectations but it at least met them. Highlight for me was a couple of runs on Chute 75 which was pretty damn fun. We skied till 1pm without anything getting too sticky even though I don’t think temps got below 40° last night.

A couple shots from the top of KT22.

How was the entry? Was quite funky a few weeks ago
Sorry, we entered from the first side door although there were a few people coming off the top and it didn’t look like much of an issue.

Strangely, things were frozen better from the top to the bottom of the mountain even though nighttime temperatures were theoretically higher. Where the bumps were total mush yesterday, they were firmer today. Even after decades of corn/spring skiing I am still learning about how dewpoint, wet bulb temperature, barometric pressure, wind, orographics etc. effect the snow surface.

Played hookie today and came to ski KT before it's too late. OMG. The west bowl is skiing like a dream. Chute 75 is skiable though the bumps are too big for my abilities at the choke point and below) ! I also did the bowl under the chair and skier right. I am having a beer to see if my legs come back before they close. Each lap is a full leg workout with the slush. It is certainly a little too warm.

Some pictures of the run of the day (West Bowl/Moseley area)

Was considering going to Pally this weekend for West Face but....had such a blast on high-traverse these past few days... hmmm choices. We like bumps but its hard to see how the bumps are looking like on Mosely and 75
