I saw a car parked right in front of a fire hydrant at Snowbird. No tickets.
I'm not sure if this affects anything but maybe DV and PC?

Interstate 80 will be closed for part of the weekend so Utah Highway Patrol troopers can relocate dozens of elk.ksltv.com
April 23rd closing for Alta, give me a break, can't give us an extra week and still close in April?
I thought they’d stay open later, too.April 23rd closing for Alta, give me a break, can't give us an extra week and still close in April?
yep! it's almost skinning seasonPainful. Wildcat and Collins will be 100% covered til late June minimum. I'll hike and do the 12 month season.
I thought they’d stay open later, too.
Solitude also operates that way and can stay open late. Not sure why Alta doesn't but I don't think it is because they operate on some public land.Given they operate on a bit of a mosaic of private and public land I'm guessing that they lose access to big connections after April 23.
My prediction is they will operate an extra "bonus" weekend the last week of April. But yeah, disappointing to say the least they aren't staying open longer.April 23rd closing for Alta, give me a break, can't give us an extra week and still close in April?

Solitude's last day of continuous operations is scheduled to be May 7. The resort is tentatively planning to reopen on the following two weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) with reduced terrain, lifts, and operating hours.Solitude also operates that way and can stay open late.
