Before the England USA match.. Is it mathematically possible for US and Iran to advance if USA pulls off a shocking beatdown of England? Would that be the most shocking group play result on recent memory? Back here on earth I have both a red cross England flag and the Stars and Stripes out front.. But fully expecting only the ancestral version to remain after this week.

Well England answered the question as to whether they were contenders. US looking good to go through.

Oh well if football wasn't poor and boring the great bit wouldn't be the highs they are.

England really looked like they were just playing for the tie all night. US had pressure the whole game but just couldn't finish or even get a really good shot off. That's a win for the US. Really just yawn though...

Pulisic hit the cross bar, but generally I agree.
Kane should scored on the header at the end, but missed by 20 feet.

I think the keeper had Pulisic's shot if it had been lower/on goal.. It was a whisker above his hand.
