Yesterday was a busy day, we had been working on this new garden bed for a while, finally got a couple loads of dirt and compost, and planted 11 trees and shrubs. I’m pretty sure it’s the most stuff we’ve planted in one day. Many of these have been in pots for a while and are unusual specimens.

Horstman Silberlocke Korean Silver Fir, Whipcord Cedar, Chamycaeperis Mariesii, Oak Leaf hydrangea, Styrax (Japanese Snowbell), Japanese Umbrella Pine, Oriental Gowdy Spruce, Curly White Pine.

In the left rear is Pieris Japonica (Lily of the Valley Shrub), in the front the curly pine, a weeping spruce and a Fern Spray Gold Hinoki Cypress.
