Saddleback has a deal on multi-day lift tickets. I live less than 2 hours from the mountain. Basically the same day trip as Sugarloaf.

I was just up there a couple weeks ago and the section of road around Madrid is hardly recognizable. The drive to Saddleback has improved.
My wife would do the drive just to see a moose, which are not too common in the Killington area. We haven't seen one yet.Have the Moose been informed?
If the skiing is lousy, Small Falls is a nice little diversion up that way.
I know the area well, it is where I proposed to my wife...in 2002. (She said yes)It IS a great spot. We were there a couple of weeks ago…during the heat. Fun.
Have never been other Summer or early fall. Good call!
That would never happen!when all of the 'Loaf was on a wind hold
The Mooscelator may have been running. That would never happen!
That’s why you bring XC skis. That would never happen!
Are they now plowing the lot for the state pullout there? (My vague memory is that access was a little challenging in the winter. But maybe they've spiffed all that up with the roadwork they're doing.)Not my pic, though i have some great shots of the area in the winter (We went there when all of the 'Loaf was on a wind hold)

The full parking lot wasn't plowed (again, it's been a few years) but there was enough room cleared before the gate for a half dozen cars to park. Are they now plowing the lot for the state pullout there? (My vague memory is that access was a little challenging in the winter. But maybe they've spiffed all that up with the roadwork they're doing.)
