June 1st Killington Report Closing Day
We camped overnight at the resort moving to our access road party spot at 0420 for first light.
Folks lined up their skis two by two in a line the extended outta sight around the K1 lodge. IKON closed out the use of their passes at Killington on May 31st so folks needed to buy $25 ticket if they wanted to ski. Caught many by surprise. Seasoned veterans came prepared.
Snow coverage was fairly good for first tuns.
Line was too long to get another run right away.
We volunteered to sweep the mountain with 87 others picking up trash. The resort rewarded the crew with a free Chef prepared lunch and raffle.
Skiing was pretty good even at the end of the day. The World Cup ice base holds up amazing well.
Last chair party on the top of Superstar.
Closing Down the Superstar Lounge. Ski patrol kindly carried out the last bag of trash.
Coming into the narrows hot.

Ski Patrol final sweep
That's All Folks. Enjoy the three non skis months and hope to see you again in October.
