@Pat AKA mustski and @Mothertucker, how are the roads this season? I trust they have been adequately patched/repaired?
330/18 is fully open as is the 18 from Lucerne. The 38 is open but with flagman/one way traffic M-F around Jenks Lake. Both lanes are open on the weekend. I drove it last Saturday and the amount of deforested terrain is insane. There is now riverbed where no riverbed previously existed. San G did a number all the way down that mountain!

I hope the snow lasts for a little awhile at least. Warning trend starting Sat until ?.

Please give update on crowds Sat. I might try Sunday :)
Your Sunday plan sounds good, there's more terrain open than last weekend and I believe MH has opened as well so it should spread 'em out. The snow itself isn't going to melt, low Sun angle and long nights cancel out a couple of hours of warmth mid-day.

Today was very good! The grooming was excellent and the snow surface smooth and fast. Judging by the number of cars coming into town this afternoon, it’s going to be a busy weekend.

Slighty off topic. If anyone is going to SS, can you confirm if there are racks for Skikeys there? Looking at the ski key website, they said it's available at Bear Mountain - so I'm not sure if it is strictly at Bear Mountain, versus all of Bear Mountain Resort(BM & SS).

TIA.

I'm going Sunday or Monday but I prefer Sunday if I dont think the crowds will be bad?

I'm also considering Bear. Does anyone know what lifts are running there?

I don't recall seeing any of these for a long time at either SS or Bear, been even longer since I've been to SV. If you're careful where and how you stash them you shouldn't have any problems.

Today it was #9, #5, and #2. I have not skied there yet and probably won't until Silver gets open.

Thanks. I didn't see them there a couple years ago either, or that I wasn't looking in the right places.

Chair #2 at Summit is open now, not sure about #3.

Any reports from Summit or Bear today?
Spent 3 hours at Summit today. Conditions were generally good, some patches of ice to enjoy but overall a good day. While the crowds were manageable if the terrain was available, Summit Run was problematic as they have decided that Park elements were a good idea (NOT!). Kiddo only wanted to ski that so I obliged. MM was less crowded from what I saw from the lift. Lines at 1 and 2 were acceptable. I may go up again soon but am very eager for 10 and 7 to open, and I think that will take some of nature's help...
