SS or BM? Too warm, slushy? I'm trying to decide to go again this week or wait until the storms past thru first?

SS, I haven't been to Bear in several years. Spring conditions and warmish. The crowds weren't terrible, but getting off the mountain was, I had taken the 330 the past few times and become numb to the stupidity that happens on that road. I will remember to take the 38 home at the very least next time. I would wait to be honest, the snow brings all interested parties out...

We’re going to there the week of Feb 10-18 if anyone wants to get in a weekday ski day. We won’t ski Presidents’ weekend.

i decided to go to SS today. Wow, what a fantastic day it was. Yes, from 9-10 it was icy granular but not too bad. Skied chairs 7 and 10 around 10-1030 but still a little too hard so went to 3 and it was great. Stayed there until 1130 then went back to 7 and 10. Much better so I skied here until 1230 then went to 6. It was pretty damn good by this point so stayed here until I left at 2. A solid 8/10 with no crowds

Completely off the hook today, literally bottomless and unsupportive in places. I got stuck or closed out by brush at least 4 times. Awesome day.

I know it's counterintuitive since Tahoe is skiing so well ... but I am super excited to be in Big Bear this week. I really love that little town! Anyone who is around, we will be skiing Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Monday and Friday are medical/dental days!
