Is it wrong that I am coveting pink ski boots?

Having confessed my sins, I am particularly eager to try out out the new line of Stöckli women’s! I am also in the market for a new front side ski.
Those pink boots look pretty cool. Lauren from Salomon is quite badass and she called it "strawberry milkshake"

Mid to upper 70-80mm carvers. The 70* is available with the R22 race plate if you really feel the need to go after it.

Have you seen them in person? They are some beefy skis. Personally, If I was going after the tree hugging acorn eaters I would have used a Sender mold. ;)
Should have called them Hero Masters Plus. Buuuuurrrrrrly.

Well shoot.
3 months ago I was all in on the versatile 82 for my front side ripper.
Bought the Sender 94.
No more need for a versatile FSR.
All in on the MT as a real western FSR.
Now a consumer FSR with a race plate to really try and turn the screws on VK9s FSR acquisition.
( the race plate thing is just a chance to use “race plate” )
I just want to go fast.

I have never purchased boots based on looks but I quite likely would reject that Salomon out of hand in that color. I get that some might like it but I’m a huge no on it. It makes me think of everything princess and Barbie and that has never been me.

Rather interested in the new Lange Shadow

Fairly detailed Blister writeup, along with a cool video -- it's short, thank goodness:

Pat, you could rock those pink ski boots. ogsmile

I am rocking some new pinkish-orange boot covers, and they are awesome!

Snux, which I would describe as a modestly upscale Boot Glove. Not like electric heat, but seem to add maybe 10 degrees of comfort.

Absolutely not. This whole thread is about indulging our worst consumerist tendencies! Dig in!
...
Cruising down the piste
Waving to the girls
Feeling out of sight
Spending all my money
On a Saturday night
Honey, crank up those hot buttons
of your Pink Salomons
Pink Salomons
Pink Salomons

...

And thats why there is valilla and chocolate and in this case, strawberry.

Don't think I didn't notice that neapolitan could scan with Salomon.

Having a hard time understanding “how“ a pivot below a pivot works. My go to is the RS, and I have a spare pair in the box, so maybe I should not worry about these changes. I’ll be too old to worry by the time those are smoked.

the pivot isn’t really a pivot, but some sort of milled track or something?

@Philpug did you notice any changes to the Head Raptor line of boots, particularly the 140s pro?
Per Coup who happened to be sitting next to me as I read this. Yes and no. It is no longer marketed as a 140 but a 130 Pro that can be made to a 140.

Another good marketing move from Head after the Speedblue. In people's mind 140 is already racers territory whereas all the advanced, good, manly  recreational skiers without racing aspirations are on 130.

But same boot? As it stands, isn't it a 140 that can be made into a 150?

Not that I give much credence to all the numbers, mind you...
