I used to ride thousands of miles a year on the road. Up to 6~7k miles a year. Stopped about 3 years ago. It was getting just way too crazy. Got a gravel and a mtn bike. Years ago they main worry was drunk drivers now its all kinds of drugs like meth. Also the fact that a LOT of people need to work multiple jobs just to make ends meet doesnt help.
