Kenkey.

It's a loose, fermented West-African corn mash. It's cooked and then you use your fingers to break off a little piece and dip it into a sauce. It's sort of like a very sour, fermented tamale. I don't know what my issue with it is: I love fermented foods. I love sourdough. I love corn. But I can't get into kenkey unlike my fiancee who is from that part of the world. Ironically, she can't stand sourdough.

Oh WOW, that's EXACTLY the kind of thing I'd go out of my way to try!
