Now of course I'll need to find a pair of these Cubco Plates so I can ski these (gently!) Anyone got a pair to spare? Or a lead let me know!

I just remember the sound my Dad made when he crashed into a fence at the bottom of the run. 220 lbs of beginner, totally out of control, New Head 360, 210cm with Cubco's... the fence never had a chance and the clanged was talked about for weeks.

Thanks Bill, I have learned something today. I wonder how well it worked when it engaged the snow on just one side of the ski. I was never a big Cubco fan because the metal toe and heel attached to the boot. They seemed to make the boot very slippery.
