I never skied the blue ones - my leg was busy being rebuilt and learning to walk again. I came back to skiing with the RC05 previous to the one shown.
You need a pair of RC08s in there though, there's a big gap.
It is weird seeing a pair of Titanium Cs in the same length as the Kevlar PLs - and those need a better binding like a Forza. Compared to the Titanium C, the Kevlar PL was an almost-cooked noodle - but it was soft enough to give intermediates good ice grip and so sold in shorter lengths. For anyone who has a spare pair of Kevlar PLs and doesn't expect to ski them in bumps, it is a really fun exercise to mount them BoF->Center of Running Surface. Yes, that far forward. The tail becomes much stronger - but damp! and the front becomes quite zippy. I once skied mine back to back with a set of later Salomon Superaxe 2Vs and the Kevlar PLs did not suck.
The SC-55 is one of the last straight RCs - that looks like it is from 1991, the year of the 10 day war.
The '98 SCXs were starting to get a bit meh - not a fan of those cores compared to the orange and red stompers of previous years.
