One of the shops I worked in sold them and they were not unbreakable we had a few pair come back broken. They did get replaced with new skis but I do not think the second pair came with a lifetime guarantee. A friend that had just broke a pair of Fischer Superglass purchased them but complained about them being the heaviest skis he ever skied.

What i remember about Graves skis is that the joke was that the only way that they could guarantee that the ski would last a lifetime was by making the core out of concrete...and that is how they felt when skied.

The other joke was that most skiers would out live the ski company and their guarantee which was no joke because that is what happened.

I tried my brother's pair of Graves. You needed to make an advanced reservation for each turn....

I found that you had to jump in the air first, to get them to turn.

They said a lot of things about the Graves ski and a lot of it was marketing that didn't hold up to the hype.

I can't believe I haven't posted here yet.

I skied these GRAVES a while back. They aren't nearly as terrible as people report them to be. I had a pleasant day skiing natural conditions at Cooper. The Killy outfit was a gift from a client that doesn't ski anymore and knew I collected.

What length are they and what bindings are on them? They use to weigh a lot compared to others in the same length.
