The grease in the heel pieces was actually sticky in these ones. I have always taken a look at the spring in the toe and added a little fresh grease but this time I decided to take it completely apart as the heel pieces were so bad. Everything looks good though. The plastic heel covers are badly chewed from poles so I will replace them with a little nicer ones from the parts box.

Most of the well used Forza are missing the afd but this stuff seems to be identical thickness. Found a reference to it on an old thread at TGR and can be found on ebay.

and a little miscellaneous, did not realize the ZR toe afd is height adjustable maybe 2 mm. Maybe hard to tell from the pics but the sides slide forward and back.

Found a nice pair Z7 din 5-13 that compliments the Authier 190s. Ready to ski, these will be a fun ride. Interesting, the bindings came off some nondescript K2 carbons made in Norway. Like the Rossignol made in Spain.

Looking around the shop for some other interesting combos, may happen, maybe not.

I think our member @Joal has thing for matching bindings and skis by color scheme, but I am sure there are lots of people that do the same.

It is a bit of a thing. Good skis and good bindings that happen to match is a cool thing for retro day and beyond.

I think that the bindings are older than the K2 skis they are mounted.
Indeed, 1973/4 most likely for the bindings and 1975/6 most likely for the skis. They must have gotten a great sale price on the leftover bindings:).

I think the bindings might be even older than you think. They could have been removed off an older pair of skis and remounted on the K2's.

Look TX cranked up to 5 on the heel and 3 on the toe on a pair of Hexcelerator IIs.

Anyone know about the TX? Late 70s recreation binding?

Anyone ever notice the daffy performing example in the photograph is on Salomon's? Looks like triple nickels. Is that Genia?
It does kind of look like her!

Hi guys. Apologies for just dropping this question in here but struggling to know exactly where I should post it! Anyway here goes. Did LOOK ever do a black coloured version of the Nevada / GrandPrix binding? I know they did red and teal blue versions and for some reason I think they did a black but not 100%. Thanks.
