(I can't believe this hasn't already been posted ):roflmao:

(Sort of) rare and very unique would describe 'The Claw'. This model has symmetric sidecut, the tip and tail are the same width. The Claw was specifically designed for ice (see video). It grips well, is relatively light and the patented plate system is intended to dampen the ski and improve grip on ice. It works as advertised.

Was taking some non salvageable stuff to the dump but decided to cut up some samples first. Did not take the best notes before I tossed them so some question marks.

From left. Hans Gmoser, Hans Gmoser and Pierre Trudeau Bugaboo Spire circa 1968.

From left. Jim McConkey jumping over tent Bugaboos 1963, Jim McConkey Bugaboos 1968.

"'McConk' as he was affectionately known preferred what was then the strictly unconventional. His 'gelandi jumping' and acrobatics on skis were the precursors to free-style aerials and the free-style movement generally." Source

They look like a pair of Fisher skis.
I was thinking Kastle. Assume they were some sort of SMU for a US retailer. You can sometimes tell the origins from the tip protector

The tip protector could be one clue, the SMU is most likely. One thing about SMU's is that many times they used slightly different variations of in line ski names. An example of this is Fisher Superglass might be Super Metalglass.
