Nice, but not as nice as the old PUGSKI GMC. I can't wait to see the new decals for the new SKI TALK GMC.

The boot was a best seller and did a lot for the Nordica name. In later years they made it in Orange. It was the boot I used with my Olin Mark IV skis. The leather liner was very comfortable even with my wife feet.:)
Yep, I got a pair of orange ones for my birthday and was one happy kid!
I was on a pair of Sohler Black & White Slaloms with M4/Rotamat FD's.

Their liners in the early 70's were the best. easy in, easy out; they would dry overnight. (They could get a bit odiferous over the season though)
I was in the red Nordica Olympics in those days.

Everyone called them Nordica bananas but I think they were the "Nordica Astro Slalom" model.

The leather liners did take a little longer to dry than overnight, some mornings they would still be damp. The boot started as a foam injected and moved to the flo fill liners later as the flo liners took over the boot marketplace. The Nordica banana boot with the flow liner was one of the easiest boots to sell, they were very comfortable and somewhat of a status symbol that many of the skiers wanted.
