Northland ski company was founded by Christian Lund. Is there an association between Lund Skis and Northland skis? I have 2 pair of Lund skis in my collection.

According to Vintage Ski World, the answer is yes - The Lund family manufactured both Lund Skis and Northland Skis.

My first pair of skis with step in bindings was Northland, cut off tails. I think they were red. The bindings were pretty flimsy, I ended up putting 202s on them for a season before I got hart gremlins. Those 202s lasted forever. They're on my sister's old hart freespirits out on my back fence, probably still skiable even after 40 years, last 5 outside year round.

Northland's back as a boutique ski? Sounds like something hipsters would be all over!

Back in 1996, I stopped at a country store outside Cooperstown, NY & bought a pair of new ~1940s & was given all kinds of brochures- they had TONS of Northland stuff. I ended up passing them along to the shop guy @ Hunter bc he could not stop drooling over em.

One more from a smaller pamphlet from the 30s? Maybe? No metal edges on any of the skis except this one. Single long piece of brass inserted by way of sliding dovetail held in place at each end but not through the edge so free flexing.
