That is reserved for the white Hanson Citation. See the Hanson thread for a picture of those. Post number 44 the first boot on the left.

XScream 179s undrilled really clean and may get skied. These barely made the cut coming in at $20 at a somewhat local thrift shop.

Pro Link FTW! I had some Scream 10s that were fun going slow but absolute noodles at high speed..

Nice. A classic. Put a fork in the standard procedure previously of most people just getting race skis.

I have said many times the X-Scream was the "second mouse", the Volant Powderkarv was the first mouse. It goues back the saying "The early bird gets the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese". the PowerKarv paved the way to wider all mountain skis but when Salomon came out with the youthful X-scream the floodgates opened to a whole segment of skis. While no numbers have ever been published, there is still the debate whether it is the Xscream or 4S was the best selling ski of all time.

It’s the Hangl plate on those things that was really something. I remember just being amazed how you could blow through spring chop as if above it.
Those years I remember Startingate near Stratton had at least two display drawers with different plates in them.

Hey guys, I don’t suppose anyone has a spare toe clamp piece for an old 500 binding they would be willing to sell. Just noticed today whilst skiing that mine has a crack in it! I’m in the U.K. so if you’re happy to post there, obviously il pay the shipping too. These things are super difficult to find here!
Also a picture of my 957 equipe on 210 Rossi 4g’s

14-20's on Derbyflexes. You will see God before you see the top end of that combo.

For you Salomon experts! What year did the 505 and the 555 equipe come out? Do all the early 3 bolt toe pieces use the same hole mount pattern?

I think the 5 series do use the same hole pattern, but it has been a long time since I mounted any 5 series Salomons. Don't try that to mix the 4 series with the 5 series I don't think they are the same.

I'm thinking the 222/202, 444/404, and 555/505 all have the same toe piece and heel piece footprint. I know for certain the 202s and 444s do

Definitely not the 222 because it is a four screw toe the other probably by the same series as I said earlier.
