Actually my very first pair of ski boots my parents bought me for Christmas when I was in high school were San Marcos.

Most likely their least expensive model but I was still excited.

Started with San Marco when they brought back the TR1. The TR1 was a simple and effective boot. Have a photo of it on the wall in VT. Will scan it when I get up there in a couple of weeks.

Also skied both the TR2 and TR3 model prior to Head’s purchase of San Marco.

Port du Soleil, February 1992.
Boot – San Marco TR2. Skis – Fischer RC4 SL 205 cm.

Little more out of the Black Hole! San marco's light boots. Same size as the scotts.

I also had a couple of season on the TR3 Race which I did need to soften up a little. I was using intuition liners for a while and they were probably the warmest boots I've had.

Just pulled these out of my garage. Got these at the Racers Edge in Breck when I was flailing around there. Didn't get much use maybe 40 days before I crashed myself out of that season and the one that followed.
