Now , Skiing Historians ...

I found this pair of skis last weekend .
$15.

The Tyrolia 2000 are from 1969/1970 ... but the skis had cable bindings before ... and they are older ...

As I said before , my photos are always horrible but you can see what this is all about . If you want more , I will take more and better .

Now , who knows something about the VOGG ???
The VOGG MEISTER ??

175 CM ... and in excellent condition

I am waiting for your lights on that matter !!!

This will take some research! I did add it to our retro / vintage ski glossary.

@Bill Talbot @Philpug @Joal @Royal Any input on Vogg?

They lit a candle deep in the memory vault, very deep and very dim

Vogg was a ski sold by one of the larger retail chains of the 60's; Sears, Penny's, Wards they all had one (the ski from Sears was actually a Fisher). Don't remember which one right now but might remember about 3 AM some morning. One dim little brain cell back there is telling me they were Japanese.

The pants they were advertising in Ski mag. 1970 were from Japan so they had contacts over there .
The original bindings were French is I believe an ad for a pair of VOGG where the owner was saying what was written on them ... no brand name bur an acronym about export from France in the '50 .
Interesting mystery , isn't it ??
