These are my 188 CM Volant skis from the mid to late 1990's I liked to ski them because they would cut through the crud with no problem maybe it was the weight factor I am not sure but they did ski very smooth. A friend used them this year he still likes them and wants to buy them but I am not sure if I want to sell.

Never warmed up to the Volants as a brand and have never demoed any but I am going to try these 185 SINs. They are in really nice shape. Bases and edges are near immaculate. Camber looks true. Review says all mountain ski, great edge hold, not very quick, lost in the moguls, nice groomer ski. The bindings were mounted for maybe a 330 BSL and I am 305. Probably will re mount toe and heel but am wondering if I might be able to move just the toe. Looks like center of boot is at the narrowest part of the waist.

Those look cool though! I am more of a fan of the polished steel than the dull.

Volant was actually making some DH skis for Head to test back in the mid 90's. So may Volant's bent in the shovel, I truly think they were the inspiration for early rise or rocker.

I had a pair of the Volant powercarve ti’s around 2002, 73mm waist if IIRC. At that time I considered them to be my powder crud skis but they were more than that. Although they were pretty damp, heavy and lifeless for my taste, I found them to be a great all-around Ski that would also grip well on ice.
They just seemed like they would plow through anything!
