Digging through a junk box today I found these Zenith parts.
Also found additional cable guides that are like the one on the bottom right of the photo. These would have been mounted on the sidewall of the ski to guide the cable around the heel of the boot.
So those are definitely probably late 50s or early 60s. Unfortunately I could not tell ya much about the skis themselves than that. But ive been collecting vintage skis for a decade and I can tell you its very hard to find any ski that old undrilled especially from a more obscure brand that is already harder to come by. Definitely a rare ski.
Zenith leather ski boots circa 1960s. Note the Mercedes symbol and the build is similar to a modern boot with a liner layer and a 2 piece overlay except it’s all leather.
Binding is Gassan, does not have an all things yet so I’ll just leave it here.
I had a pair of Zenith skis when I was around 10. Came from a local department store. They were like the ones pictured a few posts up. Blue with a white stripe.
