I have no idea whether patrol pulled passes in this case or not. In fact, I have no way of knowing whether patrol even talked to the players in that scuffle.
BTW: My point was not to comment negatively that patrol didn't do anything in that particular Mt. Snow case. My point was, lacking police presence, patrol has a air of authority on the mountain, especially compared to lift ops. That air of authority, whether it's welcome or not by patrol, comes from years of pulling passes when needed, responding to injuries, closing areas of the mountain for safety reasons. From a customer point of view, who else on the mountain is there that seems to be in charge?
