Wife was a Rodeo Queen and Barrel racer. Still trail rides and does playdays.
We have a few on the Ranch.
That's awesome. I would love to buy a ranch and my daughter have her own horse. I hope she gets all this some day, she loves horses. Her first ride she was a little girl, she bugged me and bugged me to take her riding, she finally wrote a contract that I would take her, and made me sign it! I took a pic of it and may post it lol. That first ride, she got bucked off the horse, and she was hooked ever since.

I've been around horses my whole life. Dad had them too. Wife & I have skijored in the pasture one Winter. I'm a horse husband. Your daughter is definitely horse crazy. Good luck with that. She's tough and determined. I know horse people. Post contact please. Lol Here's a ski friends daughter. She's horse crazy too.

Man I miss it! I haven't found a barn since I moved out to Utah, but I rode through college & spent two years as a full time pro groom. Also did a couple summers helping with my friend's endurance racing string, which was a ton of fun.

I’ve had horses my entire life until 5 years ago. I “grew up on the back of a horse”. Not owning any now has left a pretty huge void in my life.

I lost this guy to laminitis 6 years ago. One picture is with my daughter who he just adored. The other is me showing him at nationals in 2012. We won a lot of regional titles and two national titles.

I don’t know how people can afford hay these days!

I have been involved in with horses as a junior, amateur and 'catch rider,' owner, and formerly licensed official in the US and Canada and heavily involved in the H/J show world for a while. I am now in my 'rusty stirrup' phase and currently don't own a horse.

I am curious if any other riders have extreme dorsal flexion .... I do have similar boot fitting issues as @AmyPJ ......

I definitely don't (as loudly noted by most of my coaches haha) but I imagine it's common!

My wife is a lifelong horse nut. Probably at the barn 4 times a week, if not 5.

Nothing fancy anymore, but still loves indoor groundwork in the winter months, and lots of trail riding when the snow is gone.

@Matt Merritt, my wife's last horse was a cutting horse. I'm not a horse guy, but cutting is one impressive feat, and I love to watch.
