First day of real thaw in Texas. Now everyone is dealing with flooding from frozen pipes thawing, 911 getting swamped with calls "How do I turn off my water?!?" I have been lucky, no power outages or busted pipe (fingers still crossed).

Next week will be 70 degrees, that's Texas for ya.

My wife was scheduled for 2nd shot of COVID vaccine this morning. Luckily able to reschedule to this afternoon. Likewise, my aunt and uncle were scheduled for days that were impossible to get to the vaccine administration site. And I don't think the vaccine was even there anyway due to disruptions in shipping. They luckily were able to reschedule as well!

Lots of collateral damage... total damage from this will take a while to assess.
