Good morning dbostedo, ski3po and I are finding some nice conditions at steamboat but do wish we could have joined you for a few turns at Aspen. We elected steamboat over aspen with covid in mind. Ski well Dave.
Ohhhhhhh. Damn

Why do have no photos where there’s sky and snow? Trees, mountains...
The view of the Ajax gondola approach is one of the worst in skiing. Second maybe to the Stratton parking garage. Whereas the top lodge is a fabulous view.
Through Tony a bone and post some nice picsogsmile

They're all on my camera. I haven't taken many on my phone. They'll have to wait until I get home...

If I didn't know you I'd read that and wonder, "Why is this guy James so cranky about the lack of photos?"
But since I know you, I hear it with your voice and I'm laughing... :roflmao:
Last ski day :(

But Snowmass reported 3" overnight :)

But it's going to be warm today :(

But we'll still be skiing! :)

Should be a beautiful day with some nice snow!
But...I'm looking forward to your TR.

Yes, and yes, but with restrictions and capacity limits.

Some shared indoor spaces are closed too. For instance all the furniture in the main room at the Highlands lodge has been removed, and you're asked to boot up outside.

The put a bunch of covered benches outside for that.

View from the airport while waiting for my flight home.

The snow in the middle is Buttermilk (you can make out part of the superpipe) and on the left and behind is Golden Horn/ Thunder Bowl at Aspen Highlands.

I love the fact that you can ski part way down a run at Buttermilk, stop for a break and watch the jets take off and land. How many other ski areas/airports can you do that?
